Introducing the ICONRMS Control System
Oscillating retorts...A sensible alternative The AO-176 oscillating retort is a production-validated large capacity retort system that extends our product line effectively to provide a sensible alternative to the current industry static or rotary options.
Targeting retail and HRI (institutional) pouches, trays and other sensitive containers, the gentle agitation lends itself to cost effective material handling racks and solutions and decreased cycle times for many products.
Combined with our Flex-rack polymeric racking solution, this system can handle oscillating applications up to 8 cycles per minute and provides a retail pouch throughput of approximately 70 – 100 pouches per minute for each retort.
We have recently completed several installations in the U.S. that combine these retorts with completely automatic, shuttle-based container handling systems. One operator handles the entire operation through our ICON RMS SCADA system with web based data acquisition and recipe management capabilities.
